Sit down, and a hand starts within minutes

What is actually running on the felt at Quartz Bays, table by table, across a typical week of five hundred, crib, canasta and euchre.

What's on tonight

Four tables, four different games

You will find five hundred filling most of a Monday, crib and canasta sharing the room by Thursday, and Saturday tends to settle into a long game of bridge.

Staff shuffle, deal and keep score at every table, which means you will rarely see an argument over the count.

Chips are bought at the servery for points only; nothing on this felt is ever converted back to cash.

A dealer's hands mid-shuffle over the felt
  • Five hundred

The Monday regular, and often a Friday too.

  • Crib

    Paired with canasta most Thursdays.

  • Friendly poker

    No buy-in, Sunday's quietest table.

Every table, before the room fills

A hand fanned out mid-deal
A table cleared for its next players
A modest stack of chips at rest
The last table still running past eleven
